Congrats To All Our Team!!!!

   GB Jacksonville has been very busy in Aug.  Our team has competed in the Arkansas Invitational Tournament as well as NAGA and did well in them both.  In the Arkansas Invitational Tournament Pat got 2nd place in his division.  Blue Belt Matt got 2nd in both gi and no gi divisions.  And Blue Belt Brandon got 1st place in no-gi and 2nd place in the gi division!  

  In NAGA Professor Eder got 1st place in his gi and no gi divisions!!! Blue Belt Matt got 1st place in his gi division.  And Blue Belt Brandon got 2nd in his gi division.  Ian did VERY well in his kids division.  Brown Belt Danny Cooper got 2nd in his no gi division!  Congrats to Professor and everyone who competed as well as everyone who helped prepare for these tournaments!!!!

Mundials 2009

Congrats to Prof. Eder and Brandon for traveling to California to compete in the Worlds.  Both professor and Brandon fought some very game opponents and did well against them.  Both got submissions in their fights.  Thanks to everyone at GB Jacksonville for helping them in getting ready for that competition!  Also Gracie Barra Bianca is now a 5x WORLD CHAMPION!!!  Congrats !!!!  Here are a few pics for everyone.  Continue to train hard everyone!

 

Thanks Prof Eder!!!

Training is going great!  Professor Eder is brining everyone’s game to new and higher levels.  From white belts to brown, Prof Eder rolls and sharpens every students jiu jitsu.  Now that is a leader!!!  Lets continue to train hard and safely.

Arkansas classic

This weekend GB Jacksonville and GB Arkansas (led by Prof. Brain Davis)  went to compete at the Arkansas Classic in Jonesboro.  Parker (GB Jville kids) went into the competition with only two months of training and did an awesome job!  Damion got 1st in his divisions in both gi and no gi.  Brandon got 1st in his division in the blue belt gi division.  And at NO CHARGE Prof Eder ref half the bjj matches!  Ensuring that black belt supervision was there at all time along side Prof Brain.  Congrats to both teams for all the hardware they brought back!!!!

Have we been busy!

   GB Jacksonville has been very busy!  Thanks a million times to Steve and Susan for all there hard work at Gracie Barra!  We are now located at 110 North First Street, still located in Jacksonville in a 4000 sq ft bldg.  

    Classes continue to grow, and team is getting stronger each day.  Professor Eder and our blue belt Brandon went to Golden Years Retirement Home in Lonoke to give a brazilian jiu jitsu seminar!!!  Thanks to the help of Linsey, we were able to entertain people who really loved it!  

Kids!!!

GB kids classes are the best!  We have great parents and great kids!  The train hard everyday and learn from a World Class Black Belt!  How awesome is that!  If you are looking for something to get you children in look no further.  GB kid jiu jitsu is it!  Children enjoy training in a fun and safe environment.  Children are learning teamwork, discipline, improved self confidence, and one of the best martial arts in the WORLD!  

Pan Ams and Beyond

   It has been a mighty long time since the last blog, so please forgive me.  Congrats to Prof. Eder for going and competing in a VERY TOUGH division and only losing by 2 points to the champion; and beating the current European champion!  Our very on Pat aka The Ninja brought home 3rd place in the white belt senior division!  And its worth noting that Pan Ams was Pat’s first bjj tournament!!!

   Our team is growing each day.  Before I forget Congrats to our purple belt Mark for winning Titan Grappling Challenge in Oklahoma!  As you can see GB has been very busy.  I hear GB has a new location coming that is bigger and better…  Whether you want to compete, get in shape, or learn how to protect yourself; GB offers you everything you need.  Come in today for your FREE INTRO CLASS!

GB Jacksonville in Florida!

Our blue belt Brandon traveled to Florida to compete in the NAGA World Cup and got 3rd place.  In Florida he trained with 2nd degree black belt Paulo Ribero at GB Naples.  Big thanks to him, his wife, and his gym for welcoming him!  Professor Eder is here and ready to train hard so everyone come on in for the best jiu jitsu in Arkansas
